While I remain balanced in all areas of digital design. In regards to my degree specialization in Game Art, I believe that video games are a creative medium that we are only beginning to scratch the surface of. While I have experience and an appreciation for all digital artwork, I've always thought of games as a new frontier of expression. Video games are a powerful means of storytelling and have a unique way of communicating to players. They can immerse the player on a different level than other conventional mediums such as books or film. Games confront players with unique Environments, situations and choices that invoke a strong sense of immersion and a childhood sense of wonderment. The potential for creativity in games has shown to be limitless and new innovations are still to be found around every corner. The level of creative passion that I see out in the art world helps to constantly inspire me and push the limits of my abilities as I grow as an artist.
